Sessions on Feb 27 will be partly held joint with the Land modeling and Chemistry/climate working groups and will focus on surface hydrology/wetlands/methane and land use change. Our BGC meeting will focus on analyzing the results of the Carbon Land Model intercomparison Project (C-LAMP). The BGC working group meeting is coming up soon (Feb 26 and 27)! We will be talking about surface hydrology/methane and land use in the joint session with land and chemistry/climate on the afternoon of the 27th. In addition we will be talking about CLAMP, fully coupled CCSM3 and CCSM3.5 runs during Monday and Tuesday morning. If you have entrepreneurial work you would like to talk about at these meetings, please let Natalie Mahowald (mahowald@ucar.edu) know, so we can see if we can fit you into the schedule. Also, we like to estimate how many people will attend for snacks and meeting rooms, so please let JoAnne Martin know if you will be attending (joannem@ucar.edu). We will start late on Monday, and encourage Land WG members to join us especially Tuesday morning. Monday Feb 26: 1-5pm CCSM3 and CCSM3.5 fully coupled simulations and plans Tuesday Feb 27: 9-12: CLAMP (we especially encourage Land WG member participation) 1-5: Joint Land/Chemistry/BGC WG meeting on: surface hydrology-->methane and land use 5-6:30: social hour (BYOB) We have not webcast or teleconferenced this BGC WG meeting in the past; however if you would like us to consider it, please send an email to JoAnne at joannem at cgd.ucar.edu stating which method would be most beneficial and what day you might participate.
