[CCSM-LandWG] CCSM Land Model Working Group Info and Agenda

This message is from Gordon Bonan:

The following is a near final agenda for next week's
meeting. For those speaking, please plan on 20 minute
talks followed by 10 minutes for questions.

We have three goals for this meeting. First,
I want to bring everyone up-to-date on the current
status of CLM and the release of CLM2.1, which we
agreed upon at the June Breckenridge meeting. Second,
we also agreed that several changes were needed to
fix known biases in the model. We will review these
changes and whether they are ready to be included
in the next version of the model (CLM2.2). That
model will be used for upcoming IPCC simulations with CCSM.
Finally, we will discuss longer-term model development.
One important direction is to facilitate biogeosciences
research in the areas of biogeochemistry, carbon cycle,
and dynamic vegetation. Thank you for coming to the meeting.
