We hope you'll join us in Breckenridge for a chance to discuss the current state of the model as well as plans for the future. We have some great presentations lined up, as well as a poster session to highlight work in the CCSM community, and time to connect with your colleagues over breakfast The workshop runs June 19th through 21st, 2007, with a special joint meeting of the CCSM Advisory Board, Scientific Steering Committee, and Working Group Co-chairs on the afternoon of the 18th. A small amount of travel funding is available for those whose travel budget is tight. Travel funding requests must be received by April 27th through our on-line registration system. CCSM is pleased to announce that Inez Fung is the recipient of the CCSM Distinguished Achievement Award for 2007. This award recognizes Inez's many contributions, ranging from guiding the development of the CCSM from a physical climate model into an initial earth system model with a complete carbon cycle, to mentoring young scientists. We hope to see you at the Annual Workshop for the presentation of the award as well as a talk by Inez. 3. Our agenda is taking shape! Working Group sessions have been put on the schedule, and we're pleased to have Inez Fung, Peter Gent, Ruby Leung, Tony Rosati, Susan Solomon, and Konrad Steffen joining us as plenary speakers. *Other CCSM News:* 4. One of our publications, "The Community Climate System Model Version 3 (CCSM3)", has been generating a lot of attention lately. In fact, it has been named a "hot paper" according to ESI, a leading index for scientific literature.
