The workshop will once again be held at The Village in Breckenridge, CO. We will process registration in phases this year to, hopefully, alleviate some of the problems we have had with registration in the past. All registrations will be submitted online via the registration system that we used last year. The registration fee will be $100. The first phase will begin on 31 March 2008 and will include those participants who need to request some travel assistance to be able to attend the workshop. We are typically able to provide ground transportation and hotel accommodations. This group will also include CGD staff members who do not have their own program funds. The deadline for requesting these funds will be 25 April 2008. You will be notified in early May regarding funding decisions. The second phase will begin on 14 April 2008 and will include members of the CCSM Advisory Board, Scientific Steering Committee, and Working Group Co-Chairs. The third phase will begin on 21 April 2008 and will be for all general workshop participants who pay their own expenses. Hotel accommodations will not be requested in the online system. Beginning 21 April 2008, I will begin accepting your lodging requests via email to me at bballard at ucar.edu. Since the initial rooming list has to be to The Village on 15 May 2008, your requests need to be sent to me no later than Friday, 9 May 2008.
