I am compiling CCSM3 in JPL's PC cluster (system appended at the bottom). 1. I use -mach jazz setup but I use are netcdf compiled with pgi6.0 and use mpigf90/mpicc instead of pgf90/gfcc. 2. The GCM has been compiled completed for cpl and ice but failed for lnd. None of the later released PGI compilers have been successful including 5.2x and 6.0x compilers. There is hope that 6.0-5 will be but it is not yet released. There is a small chance of an issue with your network depending on which mpich-gm version and configuration you are using. Please use the bulletin board in the future for posting requests like this.
