[CF-metadata] cell methods: interval differs from interval given by time bounds

Dear cf-community,

I want to write 2m Maximum Temperature which is given hourly into 
cf-standard. The maximum is calculated taking the last 3 hours into 
account.
'cell_methods' time: 3h maximum 
is not accepted by the compliance checker - what would be the correct way?
