[CF-metadata] accessory parameters

Hi All -

Sorry if this has been covered, I'm at sea and don't have
enough internet capability to search the archive.

Is there a recommentdation for naming secondary parameters,
for example the water temperature returned by an oxygen sensor?
It would be a mistake to call this sea_water_temperature
and risk having it used as a valid temp.

By the way, it would be really useful if there *were* a
search on the email archive, or even a web page concatenating
it all, for the purpose of searching. Seems like it could
be helpful; most subject lines don't contain enough info to
help when you're trying to find or mine old discussions.
