Dear Karl > maybe "land_cover" should be > generalized to cover ocean characteristics (e.g., sea ice ... is this > the only possibility?), and land_cover="lake" sounds a bit odd. A more general standard name of surface_cover has been added in the latest set, which resulted from proposals of Geyer and Ruane. Cheers Jonathan
