[CF-metadata] cf-conformant sample datasets

Dear Yilmaz,

One place where you can find CF-compliant files is on the CMIP3 data 
archive accessible from:

http://www-pcmdi.llnl.gov/ipcc/about_ipcc.php

This requires registration, so perhaps someone can point to some files 
where registration is not needed.
