hi all,

The journal club is meeting next Friday, Feb 29th at noon in the ML 
Chapman Room. We're discussing sea-ice modeling with Marika Holland. A 
reading will be sent out within the next week.

I've also started a mailing list for the journal club on cgd's mailman 
server. This is the test message, and it should show you the list's 
address. If you've shown an interest in the journal club in the past, 
you're on the list. There should be links on this message to unsubscribe 
or change your subscription options for the list.

hi all,

The next meeting of the journal club will be Friday, Feb 29th at noon in 
the ML Chapman Room. We'll be talking about sea ice modeling, and Marika 
Holland will be the guest discussion leader. Please read over the 
attached paper, come with your burning questions about ice or using the 
ice model, and for optional bonus points (maybe a free slice of pizza), 
you may also look at the CSIM 5.0 documentation.

Reminder: It is virtually certain that the journal club will meet on 
leap day, tomorrow at noon, to discuss sea ice. It is likely that we'll 
serve a slice or two of pizza per person.
